I am an adventurer, author and photo maker. Most of my time is consumed by long periods of overt relaxation punctuated with brief interludes of excitement with overtones of extreme personal danger. I write, I photograph, and there is always something more to do.

My work has shockingly been featured in multiple magazines and well known international media publications. I am the author of two books: Cameras in the Wild: A Guide for the Adventuring Photomaker and Lightroom Mastery: A Complete Guide to Working in Lightroom Classic CC.

Recently, my first photo book was published. Faces of Grayson is a unique photographic collective of portraits taken of the wild ponies which inhabit the Grayson Highlands in Virginia.

In my free time I enjoy long walks with my feet and writing ‘about me’ sections.

I’m a chronic introvert with extroverted tendencies. Feel free to contact me to talk all things photography.
